Find you have a dishwasher and a washing machine to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Amble through to the conservatory to open the doors on balmy days and gaze out over the garden. At the end of each day, climb the stairs to a twin bedroom and two king-size rooms, one with an en-suite shower room and balcony and rural views. The family bathroom is also at this level. Sit out in the leafy garden as often as you choose, while the younger members of your party play snooker or table tennis in the games room. Find you have dedicated parking for two cars at the holiday home, with more roadside space available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Embark up a 3-mile walk along the Northumberland Coast Path from Seahouses to Bamburgh. See the striking castle at Bamburgh while you are there. Alnwick Castle, 14 miles away, and Dunstanburgh Castle, 9 miles along the coast from Seahouses, are also worth visiting.
