At the harbour you can join a boat trip out to the beautiful Farne Islands to spot grey seals and puffins. Back on the mainland, there are some glorious beaches within easy reach including Bamburgh, Beadnell Bay and Budle Bay, all within 5 miles. Other local attractions include the Alnwick Garden, Bamburgh Castle and Dunstanburgh Castle, all within 15 miles.
