Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet. .  Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.  Highchair. .  Balcony with outdoor furniture.  Private parking for 1 car.  No smoking. .  With outstanding views over the bay of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, Bertys Beach View is set in the middle of the promenade on the first and second floor of this iconic building within the owner’s cafe, in the heart and soul of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea.  First established in the early 1900s with a fascinating history and founded by Ben and Rosie, The Bertorelli family have been in residence here for generations, and to this day, this splendid building and ice cream parlour is run by Frank and Mayling Bertorelli who look forward to welcoming you to share time in this art deco style building.  Visitors will receive a complementary voucher for coffee and a home made 99 Italian ice cream to enjoy whilst soaking up the ambience within the original café. 

Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, once a thriving fishing village, still has a few fishing cobles and can be seen from the large windows going out to sea.  If you are lucky enough, you may spot the dolphins or some seals and will often see the local ’dolphin watch’ team around. 

If you are not out and about exploring, then enjoy your lunch or dinner sat in the large bay window of your apartment whilst relaxing and watching the sailing boats or admiring ’The Couple’ off shore statue, the only one on the north east coast and designed by Sean Henry.  Later in the evening you can relax with the large Sm. . .
