Guests say

Observatory Lodge is a well-equipped, clean, and comfortable holiday rental in Hexham, praised for its peacefulness and proximity to Kielder water/forest. The hot tub is a highlight, and the lodge is ideal for a quiet, relaxing break. However, guests should be prepared for its remote location by bringing supplies.

The lodge is consistently described as clean, with one review specifically noting it was 'spotlessly clean'. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness.

The location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to local attractions. However, its remoteness and lack of nearby facilities are noted, which might not suit everyone.

Guests find the lodge warm, welcoming, and perfect for a family break, indicating a high level of comfort.

The lodge is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, and the hot tub is a favourite feature. However, a minor issue with teaspoons and a mention of a problematic rug suggest room for improvement.

While guests suggest that a welcome pack would be a nice addition, there is no mention of gifts being provided or not, so it is not possible to score thoughtfulness.

Lovely lodge, warm and welcoming, though in a very isolated location with no facilities on site but that suited us as looking for a quiet relaxing break. Defo need to take food supplies with you as nothing much nearby apart from small shop in a local garage otherwise a good drive to get anything. Given the remoteness would have been nice if a small welcome pack was provided tea bags / coffee / small milk for arrival as we have found in other properties.
