One of the most beautiful and picturesque locations and for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway this is the cottage for you, situated next to Kielder Forest, with the dark skies above you, this cottage is idyllic. We used it for a base during the day to visit so many of the locations that Northumberland has to offer, including Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Alnwick, Corbridge, Hexham and, of course, Hadrian's Wall. We even got to see the Northern Lights on our last night. We stay in many cottages but we will certainly be returning to this one. It was magical.
