Great accommodation and as lovely as it looks in the pictures. Comfortable and had everything we needed. Amy very quick to respond and helpful . Great position for walking some of Hadrians wall and visiting places like Hexham and Kielder not too far away . Only thing that isn’t clear from the pictures is that the villa is directly off a fairly busy road with lorries passing at times. The hot tub is right next to the road which you cannot see from the tub but you can hear the road noise. It was a wet week when we were there so we weren’t able to sit in the garden which was a shame but think the road noise would have annoyed me as we usually go to places away from this, however that is just me and a lot of people wouldn’t be bothered by this . Despite this everything else was lovely and I would recommend it .

Lovely cottage in wonderful countryside. Appreciated the hot tub after a day's walking. Convenient location for Vindolanda, The Sill, Hadrians Wall and delicious meals at Twice Brewed Inn.

This cottage is in a great location with a pub down the road and loads of local walks. Please note this property is advertised as detached and it is not, you can hear next door who clearly live here pottering about although not loud. The enclosed garden was perfect for our small dog and the cottage is lovely and modern, always. nice and warm and very clean although could benefit from some bench space and a couple more pans as there was only two. The hot tub is great being under cover and the lights make it a lovely ambiance although it did cool down quite quickly. Also there was a loose roof tile and unfortunately it was very windy when we visited so this did rattle during the night but didn’t spoil our stay and we would definitely return as we did have a lovely time.
