Beautifully peaceful - the only noise was the gentle mooing of the cattle and bleating from the sheep! Amazing amount of birds and rabbits (hares too?) it was so easy to while away time just simply watching them all. Home made cakes on arrival a definite bonus. Very comfy bed. Very well equipped. Would definitely return.
We chose it because it was cheap but didn't have high expectations, which were, in the event, totally exceeded. While certainly compact, the three rooms are spacious and well presented with everything you need. But the real treat was its isolated location - surrounded by curlews, swallows, red legged partridge and goldfinches. Totally lovely if you are our sort of people seeking relaxation and a place to be creative. Thank you.
Would love to return some time.
