The Snook, situated one mile outside the village of Christon Bank, is a traditional stone cottage sitting in a farm setting, offering cosy, individually styled accommodation. There is an entrance vestibule space for outdoor coats and shoes, and an open plan kitchen dining area with beamed ceilings and a cosy wood burning stove. It boasts open views of the Northumbrian countryside.
Christon Bank is only a five minute drive to the beautiful coastal village of Embleton which has an unspoilt sandy beach. From Embleton Bay you can walk north towards Newton by the Sea, or south along the beach to Dunstanburgh Castle and Craster.

The Snook's slightly unprepossessing exterior belies what is a superb renovation inside. It is extremely comfortable, being equipped to a high standard, and full of imaginative decorative touches. Highly recommended.
