No matter how pushed for time he is he stops to show you how to operate the induction hob and switch on the various lights. He is never intrusive but you know he would be there to help if you ever needed it. The property itself is warm, draught free, clean and comfortable. The spiral stairs and low ceiling were not a problem for 70somethings but the tall sided bath could be for a person shorter than 5 foot. We appreciated being able to sit out in the very naturalistic garden/grounds having a coffee admiring the huge crops of apples! The only downside is the sound of fast moving traffic at rush hour on the nearest road but you may not notice this if you are from a busier place. Otherwise this is a very quiet location.

Showing how to Operate the cooker and hob. There was a welcome pack for us comprising of cheese, grapes, eggs and two individual cakes. There was also tea, coffee, sugar and milk enabling us to have a hot drink after a long drive. We didn't need to purchase any cleaning materials as these were all there for us to use which is not always the case. The host also provided some ideas of some attractions we we want to visit. He also said if we needed any information of recommendation on places to eat. Will be returning for another visit. Angus and Claire thank you for being such lovely host. Paul & Benita
