Having been lovingly renovated, The Hemmel is an immaculately-presented property on the outskirts of the delightful village of Beadnell in Northumberland. Ideal for a large family holiday or a gathering of family and friends, the accommodation boasts many traditional features which help to create a beautiful aesthetic and a welcoming ambience. The living accommodation is on the first-floor and its elevated position helps to make the most of the outstanding countryside views. The elegant sitting room has original wood flooring and a vaulted ceiling, which makes for a feeling of light and space and there is an ample sitting area in front of a gorgeous woodburning stove as well as a delightful dining area, all set up ready for sociable meals together. Talking of meals, the kitchen is comprehensively fitted with everything needed for creating delicious food for the whole holiday party. The features continue with wood flooring, vaulted ceiling and exposed stonework and there is an extensive dining table in here, giving guests an alternative and less formal dining option. Make your way upstairs and all four bedrooms have a truly opulent vibe with wood flooring, luxuriant throws and stylish soft furnishings, which all add up to create a look that wouldn’t be out of place in the most sought after boutique hotel. With three contemporary bathrooms to choose from, you don’t need to worry about queuing for the bathroom either! Outside, there are attractive gardens and a first-floor balcony with breath-taking rural views, the ideal spot for pulling up a chair with a glass of your favourite tipple and really soaking up those gorgeous vistas. Getting out and about exploring couldn’t be easier from here with the pretty harbour village of Beadnell close by and of course, miles of sandy beaches to discover. Coastal towns and villages to call past include Seahouses, Bamburgh, Warkworth and Alnmouth. Jump in the car for a scenic drive to attractions such as Bamburgh Castle, Hadrian’s Wall, Northumberland Country Zoo, Dunstanburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and you can even take a boat trip to Farne Islands where you might get sightings of unusual birds and even seals. For a big holiday with a big imagination, The Hemmel ticks all the boxes offering superbly-presented accommodation.
This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.

Beds comfy. Kitchen well equipped. Lovely welcome package. Living area just gorgeous. Very tastefully decorated. Situated in Beadnell which is just so perfect with lovely places to eat 5 mins walk and 10 mins walk to beach. Plenty of outside seating. I would def stay again.
