Jump in the car for a scenic drive to attractions such as Bamburgh Castle, Hadrian’s Wall, Northumberland Country Zoo, Dunstanburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and you can even take a boat trip to Farne Islands where you might get sightings of unusual birds and even seals. Seacrest offers well-presented accommodation in a delightful setting and promises guests a truly memorable holiday.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.

it was a little disappointing, the weather was lovely and after our days out we wanted to sit in the back garden, sadly the grass was about 6 inches high, and when we opened conservatory door the flag stones were covered in weeds about 6in high. I had to do a little gardening.

Thanks to Cheryl for the lovely location - quiet and handy to get to the rest of Beadnell. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Put the wood burner on one night and it heated the room well and was very cosy. Great secure garden for the dog,
