Pine Lodge is the most recent addition to Low Alwinton Cottages. Comfortably furnished, this property is located in a pretty rural setting.

Pine Lodge is one of 6 properties at Low Alwinton Cottages; three 200 year old stone built cottages and 3 Scandinavian log cabins. All are individually styled with private enclosed gardens and off road parking.

 

This pretty Scandinavian Style wooden lodge sleeps 4 people. The bright accommodation is all on one level with an open plan living/dining and kitchen area. Both bedrooms are comfortably furnished and the bathroom comes complete with a bath and separate shower. Doors open onto a private deck area with table and chairs - the views from here are stunning and extend towards Harbottle Forest and the Cheviot Hills - a peaceful spot for relaxing with a coffee or a glass of wine.

 

The Northumberland National Park is a haven for wildlife with black grouse, ospreys and otters can be spotted along the the river.. Northumberland is home to more castles and fortified houses than any other region in England. Alwinton is a short drive to the thriving market towns of Rothbury, Alnwick and Morpeth. All three towns have an excellent range of amenities to stock up on provisions or dine out. Alnwick has a magnificent castle to explore and the Alnwick Gardens are great for a family outing.

 

Pine Lodge is a great base for walkers, cyclists and stargazers… the area is Europe's largest 'Dark Skies' area.

Ground floor:

Kitchen area: open plan fitted kitchen area, electric cooker, microwave and fridge.

Living/dining: dining table and 4 chairs. Sofa and chair.

Bedroom 1: double bed.

Bedroom 2: single bed.

Bathroom: bath with separate shower, wash hand basin and WC.

Garage/games room: the 3 lodges on site also share a communal room which provides laundry and additional storage facilities. Fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, WiFi, pay phone.

Entertainment: Flat screen TV and DVD, CD player, books.

For families: travel cot and highchair available upon request.

Outside: private enclosed garden with decking area, table and chairs, charcoal barbecue.

Parking: Off road parking.

Pets:  Pine Lodge welcomes one well behaved dog @ £25.00 per dog per week or part thereof.

General: Although WiFi is supplied, due to the location, connection cannot be guaranteed. Electricity and central heating included. Access to washing machine, dryer and freezer in Wooden Hut on site. Payphone on site - Limited mobile reception.

Please note: no smoking. Dogs and children should be supervised at all times due to the proximity to the river.
