Perfect for two, this retreat has been designed with couples in mind, and makes a pleasant base to return to after exploring the local area and beyond. Housing a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely lounge, the open-plan layout promises many cosy nights amidst the warmth of the woodburner which sets you up for a wonderful getaway all-year-round. Stairs lead to a nicely presented bathroom, complete with an overhead rainfall shower, and contemporary features, so you can get ready in style from one day to the next. For somewhere to unwind, the double bedroom carries an almost traditional feel, matched with a dressing table and bedside tables that tie the space together in a homely fashion. In the area, Edlingham offers a compilation of historic attractions, boasting an 11th century church as well as the remains of Edlingham Castle. It was everything we could have expected and more. There there was a lovely welcoming homemade cake, coffee milk etc awaiting us on our arrival . The host is such a lovely person who makes every effort to make sure you are comfortable and happy with everything and even has time for a chat.
