Lovely welcome gift of wine and flowers. Sue was on hand to show us where everything was which was great. Lovely and relaxing - felt like a home from home settled in immediately. Excellent base for exploring Northumberland coast. Also ideally place for trip to Edinburgh by train. Would definitely recommend this - excellent hosts and will return

Sue kindly provided a nice bottle of Prosecco too as a welcome gesture.

It would have been lovely to have had a welcome pack ie tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter and when ringing the owners about key collection, for them to ask what we would like in the pack, but this is only a minor matter. We did receive a lovely bottle of wine and some flowers. Can't wait to go back in March for my husband's birthday treat and booking again for October before all the dates go. The cottage was so warm and great to have a clean cooker as some places we have been to I have had to start cleaning. A warmer duvet might be needed in Winter but the bed was very comfortable. Well done the owners
