The views out to the estuary are stunning, and constantly changing. The house has a charm that we just love. A short walk to the sea, we were on the beach every day with the kids. The owner Hellen did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. We had everything we needed, and the house was very clean and well equipped. Alnmouth is a special place and we will definitely be back for a fourth stay!

The house is lovely and in a fabulous position. The issues with the parking are real and properly hi-lighted in the description. We had a small car, we were just able to fit. We had two cars and the other was left on the street, but the parking in alnmouth is such that I didnât want to move it once it was parked. Any family with a big car or two cars will face a real problem with parking. The only issues I wanted to raise with the property were these: There are no oven gloves, which we really missed, and the drier did not appear to work-all four of us failed to get it to start after getting soaked on a walk. Otherwise we had a really lovely stay.

Only one small downside. The offstreet parking would struggle to accommodate a large SUV or estate car.
