Alnside Cottage is highly praised for its great location, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests appreciate its proximity to local attractions, shops, and the coast. The well-equipped kitchen and cosy lounge are frequently mentioned, contributing to a welcoming stay. While there is a single report of dampness, the overall feedback is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning to return.
The majority of reviews highlight the cottage's cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'really clean' and 'very well equipped'. One isolated report of dampness slightly affects the score.
The location is consistently praised for being ideal for exploring local areas, sightseeing, and accessing nearby beaches and attractions like Alnwick Castle.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy and warm, contributing to a pleasant stay. A suggestion for additional lighting is noted but does not significantly detract from the overall comfort.
The cottage is well-equipped, with a good kitchen and comfortable lounge. However, a mention of a bouncy floor and the issue of dampness suggest some areas could benefit from maintenance.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to assess this category.
