On England's north east coast, this picturesque town is located approximately to the north of the River Tyne's mouth. This is a fantastic coastal tourist spot, and Tynemouth is full with interesting historical structures including the Spanish Battery and the Tynemouth Priory and Castle. You won't want to leave after exploring the wide variety of stores, bars, restaurants, and cafés here! The town has a number of parks, a golf course, an aquarium, and a beautiful beach with a pier and a beautiful lighthouse. Newcastle, a vibrant city with top-notch dining, drinking, shopping, and museums and galleries, is only a short drive away. The lovely city of Durham, which has lovely structures and a fascinating history, is reachable by automobile as well.
