Guests say

Granary Barn is a charming property set in a picturesque location with friendly owners and amazing views. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, the welcoming atmosphere, and the local knowledge provided by the hosts. While some minor maintenance issues were noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with special mentions of the property's comfort and the delightful homemade cake.

The cottage was described as 'spotlessly clean', indicating a high standard of cleanliness. No negative comments about cleanliness were mentioned.

The location is praised for its amazing views and being ideal for exploring the local area. The proximity to attractions like Beamish is appreciated.

The property is described as comfortable with 'comfy beds'. However, one review mentioned the property being 'quirky and bijou', suggesting some limitations in space.

While the property offers fantastic amenities, there are several maintenance issues reported such as a hole in the wall, non-functioning lights, and problematic shower doors, which affect the score.

The mention of a homemade cake suggests thoughtfulness; however, as gifts are not consistently referenced across reviews, it is not possible to accurately score this category. Guests should note that such personal touches, while delightful, are not guaranteed.

Televisions in lounge (smart with huge screen) and both bedrooms. Missing one bedroom remote, but not an issue. Very secluded but with walks all around to villages and woods. The terrain around the barn conversion could be a little challenging, but that is to be expected as it is a working farm. Great holiday and good weather (not sure if that was ordered by the farm).

Hole in wall behind door. Light over bathroom sink did not work. On arrival shower screen was on wrong side of bath edge. Water temp of shower was very hot not able to adjust. Curtains were hung poorly.larger bedroom.shower cubicle doors did not close properly.kitchen. Freezer made strange noises. Curtains hung poorly.unable to read labels on dishwasher. Not enough information about surrounding area and places to visit. No visitors book. Check in and out times need addressing.
