Really lovely house to stay in. Spacious and super clean. All the bedrooms are large and have comfortable beds. The two upstairs bathrooms are lovely and light with great showers and are large too. Hot tub is pleasant to use and loved the outside seating which would be great on warmer days for evening meals and drinks. The lounge is a brilliant size and is comfortably furnished with a large L shaped sofa. The grounds are spacious and lots of walking can be done. If you suffer from hayfever just note that at this time of year there are a lot of trees around which might affect it. Stock up on tablets. Great location for getting to Beamish. Even though there were guests in the cottage next door during our stay … we didn’t hear them at all. It’s a lovely peaceful location and I’d be happy to visit this place again as we had a wonderful family break there.
