A former byre, this Lanehead cottage has stunning views over the surrounding countryside and is cosy and well furnished, providing a quiet holiday home with easy access to the North Pennines, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and also a UNESCO European and Global Geopark, one of the most peaceful and unspoilt places in England. The accommodation is all on the ground floor except for the single mezzanine bedroom which is accessed via a staircase above the double bedroom.
A compact, well-equipped kitchen and sitting room with beams and a lovely woodburner in the sitting room complete this pretty Lanehead cottage. The lawned garden is accessed by stone steps and is ideal for relaxing with a refreshing drink whilst watching the children play. The area surrounding this Lanehead cottage is the perfect location for walking, birdwatching, painting and sketching, cycling, touring or just relaxing and enjoying the views. Everything we could ever need was there in this stunning property. Incredibly clean, and with every amenity. The area, Northern Pennines is ideal for nothing but nature, beauty, ancient history, and lovely places to visit. We loved the moorlands and river valleys and Mike the owner was so so kind.
