Snaptrip says

1 Braeside is a well-received cottage, praised for its cosy warmth, cleanliness, and beautiful location. Guests appreciate the homely touches, including games and dog towels, and find it a great base for walking and exploring the countryside. The property offers a comfortable stay with a responsive owner, though some guests note the parking can be tight for larger vehicles.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and tidy, with only a few isolated comments about cleanliness issues such as a musty smell and an unclean fridge. The overall impression is that the property is well-maintained.

The cottage is situated in a peaceful and beautiful area, ideal for walking and enjoying the countryside. However, some guests found the proximity to a main road and the remoteness to be less desirable.

Guests generally found the cottage to be comfortable, with cosy beds and a warm atmosphere. There were some comments about an uncomfortable main bed and sofa, but these were not the majority.

The property is equipped with necessary amenities and some guests appreciated the powerful shower and spacious living area. However, there were suggestions for additional facilities like a dishwasher and a king-size bed, and some difficulty with parking for larger cars.

The owner's thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of homely extras and a welcome tray with wine, which was highly appreciated by guests. While such gestures add to the experience, it's important to note that specific gifts are not guaranteed.

We already loved the look of the cottage and views from the listing, but both were even better in person. High reccomend a stay here.

Loads of walks on doorstep for dog. The walk round reservoir was easy and very scenic. Cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed for a few days away. Wi-Fi and satellite tv was an welcome bonus.

Some weird noises from the hot water system about 530, but otherwise everything was great!
