Guests say

The Stables in Bishop Auckland offers a spacious and well-equipped retreat with stunning views, ideal for relaxation and dog-friendly holidays. Guests praise the cleanliness, high-quality fixtures, and the welcoming hosts. The property's location is perfect for exploring the countryside, though travel is necessary for dining out. A hot tub and EV charging add to the comfort, despite a noted lack of privacy due to the caretaker's presence.

Guests consistently describe the property as clean and well-maintained, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The property's location is appreciated for its fabulous views and peacefulness, although a car is essential for getting around.

The property is noted for its spaciousness and well-equipped nature, contributing to a comfortable stay. The presence of a hot tub also suggests a focus on guest comfort.

Facilities such as EV charging and enclosed parking are mentioned positively. However, the frequent visibility of the caretaker suggests room for improvement in maintaining guest privacy.

While guests are generally happy with the amenities, the absence of a welcome pack, which some guests have come to expect, suggests that thoughtfulness could be enhanced. It should be noted that such gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed.

Super property very spacious with fabulous views. EV charging on site easy to work, a big plus. Plenty enclosed parking and ground for our dog. Hosts exceptionally friendly and helpful. Loads to see and do as long as you are prepared to travel. Same again for eating out. The one thing missing was a complimentary welcome pack which we have been so accustomed to at all our previous vacations that would have been the icing on the cake. Enjoyed our stay very much thank you.

Amazing place great view so clean so great and hope to go again next summer. The only thing is we expected it to be private but it wasn’t we saw the caretaker atleast 4-6 times a day which felt like we were under surveillance a bit. Other than that great place.
