Evenjobb, or Evancoyd, is a small rural village which is situated amidst picturesque countryside on the Powys/Herefordshire border, and stands practically on the famous Offa's Dyke Pathway. The historic town of Presteigne, known as The Gateway to Mid Wales, is only 5 miles away, and boasts the award-winning attraction 'The Judge's Lodgings' as well as a variety of pubs, restaurants and shops. It is also home to the Presteigne Festival of Music and the Arts which is held annually in August. From Kington you can set out on the Mortimer Trail and walk on Hergest Ridge, the inspiration for the beautiful music of both Elgar and Mike Oldfield.
