We spent Christmas at Little Glencrest and we had the most wonderful time. The cottage was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and super cosy. (We even had a little Christmas tree!) Every little detail has been thought of and it didn’t go unnoticed. We were able to cook a full Christmas Dinner as the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a little trouble getting the hot tub to temperature but a quick message to the owners and they were around within 5 minutes to help us get it sorted. The garden was great for the dogs as it was completely secure. I can’t recommend Little Glencrest highly enough. It will be a special Christmas we will never forget!

This was the best 4 days away I have had in a very very long time. The hosts are super thoughtful, left the underfloor heating on for us, Christmas lights and a beautiful gift pack for both us and the dog. They had literally thought of everything. It is super modern, cosy and perfect for a trip away to a remote location. The hot tub was wonderful after days of walking. Barnard castle was a lovely town to venture to, and bishop Auckland, we did forest walks and around hamsterley forest. I would 100% recommend and we will be booking again, perhaps for summer rather than winter weather next time

Had a lovely stay at Little Glencrest this last weekend! 10-15 mins from the nearest Lidl but right in the countryside - beautiful setting. Brilliant hosts and a lovely little welcome pack. Spotlessly clean! Extra little touches for the dog. Would love to return. Thank you for our fab weekend.
