Dale View is a well-regarded cottage offering a comfortable stay with stunning views of the Yorkshire Dales. Guests appreciate the clean, well-equipped accommodation and the warm welcome from the owners. While some guests mention issues with the garden's security for pets and the comfort of the furniture, the overall experience is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
The cottage consistently receives praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews affirming its tidy and well-maintained state upon arrival.
The location is celebrated for its picturesque views and peaceful village setting, ideal for exploring the countryside. However, concerns about the garden's security for pets slightly affect the score.
Guests find the cottage comfortable overall, with special mentions of the welcome pack and anti-slip bath mat. Some guests, however, note that the furniture could be more comfortable, and the presence of blinds could improve sleep quality during summer.
The property is well-equipped, with a particularly appreciated coffee machine and secure area for pets. However, there are remarks about the need for better outdoor furniture and more logs for the wood burner.
The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, providing a welcome pack and being attentive to guests' needs. While such gestures are highly appreciated, it is politely noted that these are not guaranteed for every stay.
