Low Houses is a wonderful place to stay on a working farm that has existed for the last 300 years. Anna and her family made us very welcome. The house is extremely comfortable, warm and has everything you need and more…..spotlessly clean and an amazing experience being on a working farm and a secure garden for our dog. Upper Teesdale is absolutely beautiful with lovely walks, towns, pubs and cafes. Thank you Anna, we very much hope to return and would highly recommend.

The cottage is on a working farm and you have to appreciate that if you stay there. Pros; nice cottage with excellent sized rooms. Nice and clean inside.Kitchen and facilities were good.Very quiet location. Cons; doors in cottage were difficult to close and did not latch properly especially the front door.We found two dead rodents in the garden! ( not good if our dog had found them).The back gate needs attention as it was very difficult to lock.However, overall (with a little tlc) i would recommend the cottage.

The property is extremely comfortable, and clean. Beds very comfortable and spacious bedrooms. There are some benches in the garden, but some comfortable garden chairs would have been appreciated. Situated very close to Middleton, with pubs, cafes and shops. Also very close to Bowlees visitor centre, and lots of lovely walks.
