We had the best weekend here making lots of lovely memories. The house was spotless and no issues with the cleanliness. The decoration of the home was a beautiful mix of modern while still remaining true to its style (one of our guested LOVED the navy bathroom and if you know the shade/brand of paint please can you share this with us!!) Will definitely stay here again. Parking was no issue and was central to the village.

Very modern furnishings with very warm log burner which we roasted chestnuts on. Had all the appliances and accessories you would need including washer and tumble dryer which was handy in the winter period. 15 minutes drive from Barnard Castle. The Teesdale Inn has delicious food. The local coop is very handy for meals to cook yourself, although for a larger shop there is a Morrisons in Barnard Castle. A few little issues with the electricity tripping on Christmas day which I informed the owner about. Enclosed courtyard garden round the back which is quite safe for dogs. All in all we loved our stay in this spacious but cosy cottage, would recommend to others.
