Supermarket is very close. Plenty of places to eat, particularly liked the Forresters had a lovely meal there. Beware of the steep drop into the beck opposite if you have small children or a dog. There is just one length not fenced. Would highly recommend this property. Well laid out, Modern but with character .It was lovely and warm in February. Would love to go back. Instructions for the appliances would be useful and a teapot for frequent tea drinkers.

great location in the centre of the village, superb surrounding countryside with stunning views and lots of walks, we walked around reservoirs, along rivers and lots of fields, all conveniently situated around the village area, dog friendly and although the small garden is an open garden it is safe enough to let your dog wander under supervision. Great place for walkers or someone looking for a peaceful time.

The house itself is lovely, a conversion of an old building done really well: I lift my hat to the builder and everyone else involved. It is well equipped, with a superb kitchen, and in a delightful situation in a quiet lane looking out onto trees with a stream below and field beyond. We would go again, and Middleton-in-Teesdale is a proper working village, with walks in all directions. Wonderful property.
