Beautifully furnished to the highest standard boasting open living accommodation with kingsize Feather & Black bed and Harrison Spinks mattress to offer a restful night’s sleep. Having a shared games/utility room with a pool table and table tennis within a purpose made outbuilding, which is just located behind the property.
Wisteria Lodge is located in the quiet village of Roydon, just 1 mile from the market town of Diss, which is plentiful with shops, cafés and restaurants. The area is great for exploring the delights of Norfolk and Suffolk with its Heritage Coast, including Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Walberswick and Southwold are all within easy driving distance. Hire a boat on the famous Norfolk Broads or enjoy Great Yarmouth’s golden mile and funfair. The property lies midway between the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds, famous for its cathedral, Georgian theatre, abbey and gardens, museums and markets, and the historic city of Norwich which also has a cathedral and market plus a wide range of shops, restaurants and galleries to delight you. Nearby you will find nature reserves, Bressingham Gardens and Steam Park, National Trusts Ickworth House and Thetford Forest, where you will find extensive walks and cycle trails. If you want a day out at the seaside, both the Norfolk and Suffolk coastlines are within an hour’s drive. Add in lots of nature, walks and cycle routes and you will soon see just why this area is such a popular destination for visitors. Shop and restaurant 1 mile, pub serving good food ½ mile.

Wisteria Lodge is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The hot tub is exclusive to the lodge and was very welcome. The owners Russ & Claire were on hand to help with anything if needed. Three large supermarkets are about 2.5 miles away in Diss and it is a 20min train ride into Norwich from Diss station. Banham Zoo, Bressingham Steam Museum and the 100th Bomb Group museum are all local and Wroxham for a cruise on the Broads about 45mins drive.

We had a brilliant holiday staying at Wisteria Lodge. It is well equipped, beautifully decorated, large comfortable king size bed, great double base shower. The kitchen has everything you need and the livingroom area is cosy and comfortable. The cottage was well situated for visiting various places such as Norwich (train can be used from Diss), Cambridge, Bury St Edmonds, King's Lynn, Sandringham, Holkham Hall (recommend) and many more lovely villages in the area. Claire and Russell were great hosts, greeting us when we arrived and leaving a welcome pack with various essentials and a few luxuries including Prosseco. There are several supermarkets in Diss, Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi so food shopping is no problem. The icing on the cake was the hot tub which we used most nights. It is in a totally private back garden which is lit up at night. We would definitely stay again if we go back to Norfolk.

The lodge was tastefully decorated very well equipped ,hot tub made the stay even better. Very clean throughout wonderful bed had the best night sleep.
