Set at the end of peaceful country lanes, this beautifully converted detached barn offers a luxurious retreat for friends or family with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Thoughtfully restored, it blends modern comforts with original features, including exposed timber beams, creating a warm and characterful space to unwind.
As you step through the door, you’re welcomed into a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area. Exposed timber beams set the scene, while a well-equipped kitchen ensures you have everything you need to prepare a feast. A large dining table invites you to gather for delicious home-cooked meals, and French doors open onto the patio for al fresco dining on warmer days. On the ground floor, a beautiful super-king-size bedroom boasts exposed beams and French doors leading directly to the patio. The en-suite features a stylish walk-in shower for a refresh at the end of the day. A staircase leads up from the kitchen/diner to the first-floor lounge, where original timber beams and a vaulted ceiling create a cosy atmosphere. Sink into the comfortable sofas and enjoy countryside views, or relax with the TV, DVD player, and Bluetooth radio. Also on this floor, you’ll find a second super-king-size bedroom, again with exposed beams and an en-suite shower room. Outside, your private enclosed patio awaits, complete with garden furniture for an idyllic spot to enjoy a morning coffee. Off-road parking is provided for your convenience.
You'll find many local attractions within easy reach, including the historic windmills and the picturesque Wyken Hall Gardens and Vineyard (7.5 miles). Further afield, the waterways of the Norfolk Broads National Park can be accessed from Bungay (25 miles). For history and culture, explore Bury St Edmunds (16 miles) with its impressive cathedral or visit the horse racing town of Newmarket (29 miles). Families and thrill-seekers will love Banham Zoo (9 miles), Go Ape at Thetford Forest (18 miles), and the Anglo-Saxon Village at West Stow Country Park (19 miles), while National Trust properties like Ickworth House (20 miles) provide a glimpse into the past.
