We stayed at The Nest mid June and the weather was 19-23 all week. I always give an honest review as to help others decide. As we are a family of four adults it was honestly about twice as much as we normally pay for a week but it looked so nice, having said that, you could easily accommodate two families at the property as it sleeps ten which would make it very good value for money. Ample parking outside. It was very comfortable throughout and there is more than enough equipment in the kitchen to meet all your needs. It certainly caters for the larger group. There is a washing machine and outdoor whirlygig, also 5 airers inside the garden conservatory which warms up nicely, all handy for drying swimming stuff. The swimming pool is lovely, it does take a minute or two to get in and the temperature is a constant 26 degrees, once you get going it is a lovely temperature. The rails are a great aid great for anyone who has mobility issues; my knees thank you! The jacuzzi is very pleasant and relaxing and you'd comfortably seat four adults. We chose to have a gadget-free week which was nice, we finished a jigsaw and had several games of Scrabble in our downtime! Knowing Norfolk quite well as it's been our neck of the woods for many years I can tell you that Aylsham is perfectly situated. 30 minutes to Norwich. 20-25 minutes to Cromer, Sheringham, Holt, 45 minutes to Great Yarmouth or Caister. There's so much to do in the area. We didn't actually use the cooker or the charcoal BBQs as it's nice for the cooks to have a week off! I'll follow that by saying there is a lovely chip shop 5 minutes walk away if you head towards town. The Crispy Bites does a cracking small cod and chips (Pensioner size!) £5.70. I could only eat half, very generous portions. Kids meals for £3.99 including a drink. In all honesty, we'd love to return at some point and I have to say the owners are the friendliest we've ever encountered on any holiday. One suggestion, and it isn't a complaint by any means, but it might be nice to have a very small corner unit in the en-suites for everything you need to have at hand. Perfect break, we left feeling very relaxed, thank you.

The Nest is a spacious, well-equipped property. I stayed here in June 2026 with 4 of my best friends and it was perfect for us. All the facilities are very good although the hot tub was a little too hot.

We went as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) Friday-Monday. The accommodation was fantastic, very clean and had EVERYTHING you could need to start your holiday. The owners really have thought of everything. We had amazing weather so the kids played in the pool for hours each day! The pool table was a big hit too. Would definitely recommend The Nest. Would love to go back and enjoy with friends as well. Thank you
