Massive house ideal for a big family gathering- well equipped and back garden dog secure - front garden was pretty but unable to use effectively as gate was unable to close due to scaffolding thus making it difficult with young children and pets. Kitchen was well supplied with crockery, utensils and electrical equipment. Thank you for a good weeks rest.

Excellent location by a very lovely beach. Has a local pub/restaurant - poachers pocket (which we also recommend), a store, cafe and ice cream parlour in walking distance. Plenty of parking and equipment for a large group. Two comfy lounges, bedrooms on bottom floor, for anyone with lack of mobility (all very clean). Two lovely size gardens for the children and the dogs and a utility area as-well! Plenty of board games provided. We had a great weekend and would love to go back again!

We were not made aware the property had scaffolding around it. Although our children did not play outside because of the weather, it could be a H&S issue if children climbed on it. Also a couple of the gates could not be shut on because of how the scaffolding poles were positioned. In our case, our children are slightly older so we were able to tell them not to go into the front garden so not near the road. I appreciate the scaffolding is temporary, but it may be worth mentioning to future guests if it is still in position in the near future. The downstairs bedroom next to the dining room had had its carpet cleaned and was still wet when we arrived. It was damp for a couple of days - luckily we had slippers with us!It would be useful if all the doors actually shut. In particular, the downstairs bedrooms had doors that did not close. As the property allows dogs, we were conscious of keeping the doors shut on at all times so they didn't go into the bedrooms. We resorted to standing a dining room chair in front of the doorways to the rooms where the doors did not close properly which done the trick!None of the above detracted from our enjoyment of our week in St. Peter's Court - I hope my comments are useful for future bookings.
