River View has a surprisingly large floorplan. I for instance, didn't expect an utility room and a garden of this size (decking and lawn). Inside are many uneven steps, also between spaces where you wouldn't expect them. They weren't a problem for us, but can be hazardous for others. The cottage has comfortable beds and practical furniture and the kitchen is good equipped. There were a few cobwebs to many for my liking and somehow I did mis a touch of homeliness (knick-knacks, houseplants). But thats very personal! The cottage is situated in a village, next to a through road, but the traffic didn't disturb the birdsong too much. From the cottage is just a tiny bit of river visible. It was a joy to watch a swan, a coot with her little ones and even a kingfisher. At the end of the lawn is a little fence without a lock and since there was no explanation about garden boundaries, I went through it, to enjoy the river and the waterbirds behind. Beautiful!I definitely would recommend River View!Side note: I think that future guests will like something of a welcoming package e.g with a few Nesspresso cups.

Everything was great ,the only issue we had was the steps in the decking,at dusk it was difficult to see the step because it all looked on one level.the smell off the algae was bad but obviously that wasn't the cottages fault.id recommended the Vernon arms for great food and beer, labone indian restaurant for takeaways delivered at North walsham, fish and chips at walcott chippy(kingfisher) I think
