Happisburgh village offers village shop, pub serving good food, and lighthouse, open on Sundays during the main summer season, where visitors can view its workings and enjoy the fantastic views. Attractions for all can be found at the seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham, half an hours drive, with Blue Flag Award sandy beaches, pier, promenade gardens, golf courses, Splash swimming pool and Poppyline Steam Railway, journeys through beautiful countryside and neighbouring coastal villages onto Holt. Norfolk Broads for waterfront cafes, restaurants, boat hire, river trips, fishing (in season) and sailing, 7 miles. Hickling Broad with Wildlife Trust nature reserve, 6 miles. City of Norwich, cathedral, castle museum, cafes, pubs and excellent shopping, 20 miles. Shop and pub 1/2 mile.

Just back from a brilliant holiday here. Three generations in the house and it was perfect! Teenagers loved the games room as well as adults! 😂Everywhere was very well equipped with good quality items. Everything we could ask for was there. Beautiful beach just a 10 minute walk or a 3 minute drive! Supermarket 12 minute drive.Would recommend to families that enjoy spending time together!Would definitely return.

It was good to return for our seventh year, and to now book for 2027! So we obviously think it is a good place for an extended family with beach -enjoying grandchildren.

This property is not "SQUEAKY CLEAN". When we arrived we were prepared to overlook a few shortcomings regarding cleanliness - cobwebs and spiders in most rooms, dirty cooker handles and kitchen window sills. Kitchen worktops were not thoroughly cleaned and there was dog slobber on both the living & dining room windows. A used tissue was found next to the downstairs bed. HOWEVER, on our second night we were shocked to discover a hypodermic needle and paramedic paraphernalia on the floor of our young grandsons bedroom. We reported this to Cottages.com as we were worried that it was unsafe to continue our stay. To their credit they were exceptional in their dealing with this situation. Sadly, I cannot say the same of the owner.
