Otters is a spacious and well-equipped cottage in the heart of Wroxham, offering excellent access to local shops, restaurants, and the Norfolk Broads. Guests consistently praise its prime location, comfortable beds, and generous kitchen facilities. While some furnishings and bathrooms are a little dated and could benefit from refurbishment, the property is clean and provides good value for money. Occasional thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs, are appreciated, though not guaranteed. Overall, Otters is a popular choice for families and groups seeking a convenient and enjoyable base for exploring the area.

Most guests found the property clean and tidy, though a few mentioned areas needing a deeper clean or minor maintenance, such as mould in bathrooms or kitchenware needing washing. Overall, cleanliness is generally good but with occasional lapses.

The location is universally praised, with guests highlighting its proximity to shops, restaurants, the river, and local attractions. The central setting in Wroxham and views over the marina are standout features.

Guests frequently mention comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Some note that sofas and certain furnishings are worn or dated, and a few mention chilly downstairs bedrooms, but overall comfort is rated highly.

The cottage is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and provides ample space for families. However, several reviews mention dated bathrooms, broken blinds, and the need for updates to appliances and decor. Facilities are good but would benefit from some refurbishment.

Lovely weekend at Otters. Close to local amenities - shops, restaurants, river with Norwich 'Park and Ride' a few miles away.Comfortable and clean cottage, though the curtains and blinds could benefit from some maintenance. A couple of suggestions: check that the TV is tuned in correctly (it was eventually with our grandson's help) and although the information booklet is very informative, it would have been helpful to know where the immersion heater was situated when we first arrived.

Positives - great location , and priced for its current condition .Beds were comfy and sofa looked new .It was bigger than we expected . Especially the kitchen , overall it is well equipped . Negatives - the floorboards squeaked so badly that every morning we were woken up as soon as someone was up and they were 2 floors above ! Bathrooms smelt of damp and have original bathroom suites from when they were built , it wouldn’t take a lot to refurbish them . Some of the decor also made the house feel dated , maybe more modern pictures would give it a whole new feel .I would of been happy to pay £100-£150 per week more if the bathrooms were modern ,

Went away with my elderly parents. Mum couldn't have a shower the whole weekend because the shower was broken, it wasn't attached to the wall. My parents would have had to hold it the whole time they were in it or keep bending down to pick it up. A messaged to ask if it could be repaired. I had messages back saying a certain person would contact me they never did. In previous reviews it talks about the shower. The location of the house was great. There has been a new sofa which was lovely. The beds were comfortable. The house is just just run down, needs a bit of modernising. Curtains are hanging of their track.
