Guests consistently praise 'On The Beach' for its prime location adjacent to the beach, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting. The accommodation is described as comfortable, warm, and well-equipped, with a particular emphasis on its suitability for beach access and tranquil holidays. The property appears to be well-maintained, with a friendly host and a clean environment that contributes to a restful stay.
The reviews suggest a high level of cleanliness, with guests describing the accommodation as 'spotless' and 'nice and clean'. There are no negative comments regarding cleanliness, indicating that guests are generally satisfied with the state of the property.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and the sea, with many guests appreciating the ease of access to the beach and the peaceful surroundings. The views and the sound of the sea contribute to a serene experience.
Guests find the property comfortable, mentioning a 'nice and comfy' bed and a 'warm and cosy' atmosphere even during colder months. However, one review suggests that the space might be small for four people, especially in winter, which slightly affects the comfort score.
Facilities are generally good, with the property being well-equipped. However, there are minor comments about the TV needing retuning and difficulty with using the DVD player. The lack of clarity about the availability of a DVD player and the issue with toilet paper supply during a holiday period indicate room for improvement.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the host in the reviews. Therefore, while the host is described as friendly, there is insufficient information to assess the level of thoughtfulness in terms of gifts or extra amenities.

Sea fishing is available at Bacton beach, so be sure to bring your sea fishing rod. Wroxham, 13 miles and known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, has many riverside restaurants, cafés and shops. The waterways are best explored by boat and are rich in birdlife and wildlife. Daily river trips and boat hire is available.

We loved our stay, accommodation was spotless and comfortable. We stayed in February and had snow but we were warm and cosy. Beautiful location right on the beach.

Nice cottage located on a holiday park. Great views towards the sea, and virtually sites on top of the cliff.Plenty of room for two, but would be a bit small for four, especially in winter. Not allowed in until 17.00 and having to leave by 09.00 meant that a lot of valuable holiday time was missed out on. Again, especially in winter when it is dark well before you can commence your stay.Shame we could not get the dvd player to work as there is an interesting collection of dvd to be enjoyed. It was a good thing we brought a roll of toilet paper as the only roll in the cottage ran out on Christmas Eve, after the shop in the village had closed!

This was our second stay at On The Beach and it won't be our last! A lovely place to stay with all we could need. Perfectly situated. Hope to be back soon!
