Brand new for 2023, Nature’s Nook is a timber interior, single-level riverside lodge standing alongside the River Yare, with fishing available from the private decking (in season, permit required) and a fishing bait fridge.

All on one floor. featuring an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with two double French doors and fabulous river views. There are are two comfortable bedrooms, one offering a double bed and one the other with a bunk bed with small 4ft double with a single bunk above. Leading out to the veranda with dining furniture and decking down to the river’s edge. An ideal spot for watching the wonderful wildlife and boats pass by. It has its own quay headed mooring to moor your own or hired boat (use of a slipway nearby - please advise if required).

Located on the Riverside Estate within the village of Brundall, the centre for boat building and boat hire, which has its own railway station, shop/post office, mini-market, hairdresser, Indian restaurant, Chinese takeaway, fish and chip shop, cafe and local pubs all serving good food, one of the pubs being just across the river and one just a short stroll away.

The famous Norfolk Broads is a National Park with over 125 miles of waterways best explored by river. Daily boat hire is available locally, booking being recommended during the summer season. An ideal location to leave the car at home and jump on the train with links to Norwich and Great Yarmouth.

Great Yarmouth town centre has a shopping mall and market square; a great place for seeking fresh fish, sea food and fruit, along with supermarkets. There are also has two stadiums one for grey hound racing, stock car racing and another for horse racing. RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Fen is 3 miles away. Nearby is Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, which has a renowned collection of Asian mammals including birds; you will also find reptiles in the pleasantly landscaped gardens. The village of Strumpsham has a steam museum and Reedham offers Pettitts Animal Adventure Park. Pleasurewood Hills and BeWilderwood are close by too.
