While it is a village, Mundesley itself boasts lots of places to eat and drink and of course has a wide sandy beach which is considered by many to be one of the best in the area. With all of this just footsteps away, you may be tempted to park up at Driftwood House and spend your whole holiday right there but venture a little further and you will find much to see and do. Head east or west to discover a string of coastal villages and towns including Cromer, with its famous pier and Happisburg with its picturesque lighthouse. Or, head inland and be in the heart of the Norfolk Broads in under half an hour. History Buffs will enjoy exploring the medieval city of Norwich, the Blickling Hall Estate, the Thursford and Muckleburgh Collections or one of the numerous local museums. The young at heart will enjoy a day out at Bewilderwood or Amazonia Zoo and nature lovers will also be spoilt for choice with Cley Marshes within easy reach too. Driftwood is a wonderful house. It is very spacious and we found all the beds and settees very comfortable. There is a large, lovely kitchen which was extremely well equipped with everything that we needed with a big fridge and a separate large freezer. The whole house was spotlessly clean. The hot tub was a real bonus and was enjoyed at the end of the day by all making for a relaxing end to the trips out. Driftwood is in a lovely position with just a short walk down to the beach and it is certainly a house to recommend for holidays. We all enjoyed our week here and could quite easily have stayed for longer! It is the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in and loved it!

A lovely comfortable house, there were 8 of us different generations found the beds comfortable. There was plenty of space for us all, the seating in the living area was comfortable all seats recline. The wood burner made it very cozy. The kitchen was well equipped with new pans, had everything we needed. Hot tub was a bonus. The owner called us ahead to let us know the house was ready for us early on our arrival day. Would recommend

Amazing house, well furnished with fantastic kitchen, only criticism is the frying pans need replacing, everything else was great, plenty of crockery and cutlery.
