The cottage is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with only a few isolated comments about minor oversights. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive guest experiences.

The location is generally appreciated for its proximity to local attractions and the secure garden for dogs. However, some guests mention traffic noise and difficulty finding local amenities, slightly affecting the score.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of a cosy lounge and comfortable bed, although a few guests noted the bed was too soft for their preference and the steep stairs posed a challenge.

The cottage is praised for its well-equipped kitchen and overall facilities. Some guests suggest additional improvements such as better heating in the lounge, more crockery, and clearer instructions for amenities, indicating room for enhancement.

Many reviews highlight the thoughtful touches, such as decor and welcome treats for both guests and pets. While these are well-received, it is noted that such gestures are a bonus and not a guaranteed feature of every stay.

However, the shower has one small square non slip mat, this only covers half of the shower basin. In my opinion, for safety reasons the shower room needs two more non slip mats (one inside and one just outside of the shower). Central heating throughout the cottage except the living room, which has a wood burner. Excellent location for exploring Norwich.

Comfy lounge and good sized kitchen dining area. Large bedroom with supper large bed. Good sized enclosed garden that your four legged buddy will love to explore. Neighbour was friendly and told if we wanted any information she would be happy to help. A couple of minor issues to be aware off, the bedroom ceiling is very low and we found it cold even with the radiator on full. Also new oven gloves are needed and a draining rack might be a good idea for washing up that doesn’t warrant using the dishwasher. And lastly some info required about recycling and general rubbish and where to put it. (Apologies if it’s there we just didn’t see it). I would most definitely recommend a stay here.
