The seaside village of Sea Palling has excellent sandy beach backed by sand dunes, restaurant, small arcade and café is just an 8 minute drive away. Bygone museums, craft centres, National Trust parks and homes of Blickling and Felbrigg Halls are all within an easy drive. City of Norwich is just 16 miles away and has a magnificent cathedral, castle museum, art galleries, cinemas, theatre, cafés, fine restaurants, and excellent shopping.
Blakeney Quay and Morston Harbour located further along the north Norfolk coast offer seal watching boat trips and pubs and restaurants serving superb locally caught seafood. Fishing is available (in season with licence) at Sea Palling, Waxham, Cromer and Sheringham beaches, alongside the River Bure for river fishing and many lakes. Great golf courses are within an easy drive too including Sheringham cliff top, Sprowston Manor, Barnham Broom and Bawburgh will certainly delight any keen golfer. Beach 3 miles. Pub œ mile. Bockety Barn is the best self catering accommodation I've stayed in. The barn was full of character, well equipped, spotlessly clean and the host Lizzie was exceptional.The welcome pack was full of lovely goodies, including bread milk butter crisps chocolate a bottle of fizz and homemade cookies. Lizzie had also made me a birthday cake and put up bunting.It was lovely to stay in a cottage with 2 king sized beds and a fabulous en suite to both bathrooms.All of the furniture was extremely comfortable. The hot tub and sauna across the courtyard were just the icing on the cake.The barn is less than a 5 minute drive to the nearest supermarket and less than 15 minutes to the nearest beach.Can highly recommend đ„°

You will not be disappointed if you booked to go here. Elizabeth was so welcoming and has thought of everything. The accommodation was beautiful and very relaxing and fully equipped, down to the very last detail!The welcoming pack was exceptional and the home made cookies were banging đ You don't have to drive far to be able to explore, there are plenty of places to visit. The coastal walks were great.We would definitely recommend and look forward to a return visit in the future.

The host was very friendly and took her time to explain everything to us on arrival . The place is very clean and fully equipped for self catering.living Quiet and peaceful place . Having a hot tub and sauna facilities indoors is a real plus. We will certainly stay there again. We can highly recommend anyone to stay at Bockety Barn .
