A superb location for a family seaside holiday, this delightful detached, upside-down, brick and flint house lies just 50 yards from the glorious beach, which can be accessed by the gate at the bottom of the garden, borders a meandering stream, and is walking distance from shops and pubs in the pretty village of Mundesley. This lovely area provides so much to see: the beautiful Norfolk Broads where boats can be hired or trips can be taken, Cromer, 8 miles, for family fun - famous for its end-of-pier show and crab sandwiches, pretty fishing villages, bird reserves, seal-watching trips, steam train rides and the children will love Bewilderwood - a treetop fun park. Medieval Norwich, with its castle, cathedral, fine shops and restaurants, is not to be missed. Shop and pub 100 yards.

As part of the Coastal management Scheme, contractors will be undertaking work from 4th March 2024 until the end of March 2025 and Beach Road will be an entry for works but guests will be able to take their vehicles down Beach Road at any time to the property and park on Beach Retreat’s driveway and inside the garage.
There is open water in the property grounds.

Beautiful very lean house a few steps away from the beach. Mavis, the owner, was lovely. She called u just to say"Hello" and check that all was well, which it was. There was a delicious homemade Victoria sponge waiting for us in the kitchen along with milk and wine, a lovely welcoming gesture, thank you. We would definitely stay again, we had a lovely week and our little dog enjoyed his beach walks.

Cottage has a very clean feel as soon as you walk through the door and this continues throughout. All rooms are spacious, beds are comfy and showers work well. Lovely kitchen (looks quite new) and the conservatory although small has a great view of the sea as does the upstairs lounge. Location by the sea is perfect as is having a pub 30 seconds walk away. All in all 10 out 10 for everything!!

We had a lovely family break at Beach Retreat. Mavis kindly provided cake and wine which was very well received. The location is wonderful- so nice to be able to access the beach so quickly. We also had a nice evening in The Ship inn.
