Norwich also has lovely parks and gardens, as well as art galleries, museums, theatres, and cinemas. Enjoy its superb shopping facilities while visiting its elegant bars, cafés, and restaurants. Everything we needed for a relaxing week. Location is fabulous for everything and so quiet. Recommendations - The Rumsey Wells for pies to die for. The Wig & Pen for great hospitality. The Urban Lounge for perfect breakfasts. The wonderful river walks. Obviously the Cathedral, stunning! A great city well worth a visit.

The house had everything we needed and in particular the beds were very comfortable and the location was very quiet.

A super comfy terraced house with beautiful, arty decor and the luxury of 2 bathrooms, both with excellent showers, and 2 bedrooms with king-sized, very comfortable beds. We were a little concerned before visiting about the parking situation as it's street parking in a quite congested narrow road of terraced houses. But we never had any problems finding a place, usually right outside. The only issue would be if you wanted to leave your car in the street all day on more than one day as it's permit parking from 8am to 6.30pm and you are provided with a four-hour 'clock' pass, which covers you until noon, plus one day pass. I don't know if it's possible to get additional day passes, or how to do so if you can. Some clarification over the parking would have been appreciated but it didn't affect us as we were using the car on all but one of the days and the foru-hour permit is plenty to be able to have a morning in the city or browsing in the many antique shops in nearby Magdalen Street. We would definitely book again.
