Lavender Cottage in Weybourne is frequently praised for its comfort, well-equipped nature, and excellent location close to local amenities and attractions. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, the private patio, and the convenience of on-site parking. The cottage's proximity to walking paths, the beach, and a dog-friendly pub adds to its charm, although some guests noted issues with low ceilings and the need for minor maintenance.
Most guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, with a few noting areas for improvement such as under furniture and kitchen utensils. The overall standard of cleanliness is high, contributing positively to the guest experience.
The cottage's location is highly praised for its easy access to the beach, local pub, village store, and coastal paths. Its proximity to attractions and the enclosed garden for dogs are also appreciated, making it an ideal spot for visitors.
Guests generally regard the cottage as comfortable and cosy, with spacious bedrooms and a well-equipped living area. However, some guests mentioned the inconvenience of low ceilings and the layout of furniture upstairs.
The property is well-equipped, but some guests reported issues with the hot water booster, the condition of the TV, and the need for defrosting appliances. While the facilities meet most needs, there is room for improvement in maintenance.
While some guests mentioned receiving a welcome pack, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful touches such as gifts to accurately assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null, and it should be noted that such amenities are not guaranteed.
A short stroll from the beach, the pub and the steam railway, this attractive cottage also has easy access to great walks, birdwatching and quaint coastal villages.
A cosy cottage, close to the coast offering a lovely place to unwind and switch off in this lovely part of Norfolk. Well equipped, Lavender Cottage is just a five minute walk from the beach and is located in Weybourne, a pretty coastal village, which is set alongside the North Norfolk Coastal path. There is a shop and pub within walking distance and the local CoastHopper bus service provides an opportunity to explore this area without taking the car. Visit neighbouring Sheringham, a traditional seaside town with a great range of shops, eateries and its own Little Theatre or discover Victorian Cromer with its famous pier and rnli Lifeboat Museum, just 7 miles away. The Norfolk Wildlife Trust visitor centre at Cley Marshes is a great place to visit for bird watchers and walkers alike with beautiful views across the marshes, non-stop birdlife and big open skies - Norfolk at its best! A boat trip from Morston will take you out to one of the largest seal colony's on this coast or take the children to the pretty coastal village of Blakeney to go 'gillying' - crab catching to you and me - on the quayside. There are some great things to do along this stretch of coast, you will certainly be spoilt for choice and Lavender Cottage will make a lovely base to explore from.

Mrs Mitchell
We had a 4 night stay in March, and was pleasantly surprised on our arrival, it looked even better than the photographs. Clean, Tidy, cosy, quiet, very relaxing just what we needed. Only a short walk to the beach as described. The little shop/coffee shop was lovely, friendly people, and customers. We visited The Ship Inn for an evening meal, it was delicious …..we didn’t want to leave, and hope to visit again…highly recommend

Lovely comfortable, well equipped cottage, especially with a dog or child, as the garden is secure. Lovely village with a great pub and cafe for meals. Good hourly bus service to the local towns.
