The duel aspect kitchen / diner is the bright, modern yet homely heart of the house, with a spacious sitting room and further conservatory and ground floor bedroom. The garden is particularly child and dog friendly, as it is fully enclosed and mainly laid to lawn as well as having a south-facing furnished patio area to relax in.
Upstairs three further bedrooms, one en-suite and a family bathroom ensure there is room for everyone after a hard days exploring, walking or building sandcastles on the beach.
Lantern Cottage is located just a few minutes’ walk from local shops, pubs, restaurants and the harbour with its magnificent views and beautiful beaches beyond. There is parking for three cars on the shared driveway - a real bonus in Wells in high season. All in all Lantern Cottage is ideal for families and friends wishing to take a break together in this lovely area.
Additional Information
Two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge). Please Note: Dogs must sleep in the kitchen/conservatory and are not allowed upstairs or on any furniture.
A gas barbecue has been provided. Please leave the barbecue in a condition that you wish to find it in. Thank you in advance.
The bedding provided at the property is a mixture of synthetic & down.
A complimentary starter pack is provided on your arrival which includes essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar and milk plus a welcome treat.

We had a wonderful Christmas at Lantern Cottage.When we arrived it was decorated beautifully for Christmas and the extra gifts were very welcome. It is in a great position and was spotlessly clean. It was very comfortable apart from the downstairs bedroom which was a bit small. The showers were amazing and I am really missing it. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Had a lovely week at Lantern Cottage, despite the rain! Luckily, we had two sunny days and managed to spend time at the beach. Lovely meals out; especially enjoyed The Golden Fleece, The Globe and Bowling Green Inn. We would definitely recommend Lantern Cottage - it is a fabulous location and feels very homely. Many thanks.
