Recently refurbished by the owners, who truly have an eye for creating a magical space, this stylish little property sleeps four, with a double bed on the ground floor and a twin, which includes a cabin bed (for child) and single bed on the first floor with restricted headroom. It really is perfect for a couple and small families alike and is in the perfect position to explore the stunning North Norfolk coastline.
Little Walsingham itself is famous for the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham and boasts a well renowned farm shop and deli which is immediately opposite, a small general store, a pub, cafés, antique shops and the fabulous Little Walsingham to Wells railway, all within easy walking distance. Travel a little further and you will find a whole area packed with great places to eat and drink, many of which serve fresh, seasonal local produce, which is great news as you are sure to work up an appetite after breathing in all that lovely sea air.
Head to nearby Wells-next-the Sea with its wide, sandy beach adorned with painted beach huts or sit quayside and watch the pretty little boats bobbing on the tide. Travel east or west from here and you will find a host of coastal habitats including cliff top walks, rolling sand dunes, salt and clay marshes, creeks and harbours and lovely inviting beaches. So, whether you are a wild swimmer, a pleasure-paddler, a sun worshipper or a coastal walker, you will be spoilt for choice. This area is beautiful year-round and there is nothing quite like a blustery off-season beach walk to clear the cobwebs away. Add in great walks, history galore, wildlife in abundance and so very much more and you will soon see why this part of Norfolk is so popular. You may even have to come back just to fit it all in. And when you do, you’ll be sure to choose The Old Candle Shop for your next stay too. Parking - there are three spaces immediately opposite the property where you can park all day and night. You will find the same 60 yards up the hill from the house. There is also a local car park within a short walk.

Lovely character cottage in a beautiful village, with a farm shop just over the road. Well located for coastal nature reserves such as Holme, Titchwell Marsh, Holkham and Cley, all of which we visited being keen birdwatchers.We didn't realise the village was a place of pilgrimage when we booked, but there's a lot to see and it wasn't too busy during our visit.Definitely recommended and I'm sure we will return.

Lovely clean place. Very comfortable. Only issues were tv was not working as no broadband.Also only 2 towels for 2 people. Fine for hubby but I like 2 towels. All in all definitely worth the money and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
