We've just returned from a lovely holiday here. We were so happy with our stay. The hosts Nicola and John were so friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met (family of 5 including a toddler) and we could tell they actually care about the people who stay in their accommodation and want them to have a lovely time. The beds were super comfortable, well to put it bluntly, has made me rethink my choice of mattress since returning home! The cottage was clean and had a very homely, cosy feel to it which we loved. It had all the bits we needed for cooking and cleaning, I especially loved the eco friendly products that I also use at home. There were some movies, family games and a few little children's toys too. The garden was so pretty and safe from my little one to explore in. The gated flat surface patio area made me feel at ease with a high energy 19 month old. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas, granted you need to drive but the routes to the destinations are so beautiful. We really appreciated the hamper that was kindly left for us so after a days work and drive we could have a cup of tea and wake up to scrambled eggs on toast, perfect! The cot was made up beautifully for our little boy with all the bedding. I didn't want to leave and I'm really looking forward to going back. It is family friendly and a lovely place to stay but also perfect for a couple get away with a cosy fireplace, we didn't use, but I can imagine out of season with some twinkly lights would be perfect. There is a green grocer and lovely bakery a short drive away in mundsley. Also a tesco, sainsburys and waitrose about 10 mins drive. Thankyou Nicola and John!

This beautiful cottage was much bigger than the pictures illustrated, a true home from home and much more, spotlessly clean, fantastic furnishings and so comfortable, the garden and seating made such a big plus, with a further garden with seating and lots of space for children to play, very close to main towns and so many wonderful beaches, will most definitely be going back.
