Located just 5 miles south of the pretty Georgian market town of Holt and 22 miles northwest of Norwich, you re perfectly placed to explore the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Explore glorious beaches at West and East Runton (14 and 15 miles respectively) and stroll the golden sands to Cromer (16.5 miles) for its famous fresh crab and local beer. Enjoy a wonderful experience on the Norfolk Steam Railway from Holt or Sheringham for a journey through a pristine landscape. Discover the beloved nature reserve at Blakeney Point (13 miles) where you ll find the country s largest colony of grey seals, visit Wells Next the Sea (14 miles) and the exquisite Halls of Blickling and Holkham (11 and 15 miles respectively). A little closer to home, ramblers will enjoy footpaths from the historic railway village of Melton Constable, which boasts a renowned butcher and an excellent bakery with a coffee shop.
