Open the lovely french doors and wander out to the pretty garden where you can relax and simply enjoy the peace and quiet. Or cosy up with a good book in the comfortable sitting room with the warmth from the wood burning stove.
Approached by quiet lanes, the cottage is the perfect location for walking, cycling and enjoying the beautiful countryside. Wander a mile down the road to the local pub, The Saracen’s Head or a little further on you will discover The Walpole Arms which comes highly recommended.

We have just had a wonderful four night break at Pear Tree Cottage. I can only reiterate what previous reviewers have stated. It is a comfortable, clean and extremely well equipped cottage with a wonderful welcoming host. We will hopefully return very soon.

We have visited this cottage for the past 4 years for a short January break. It is in a very pretty location, the cottage is lovely, well equipped and is always immaculately clean. We love the wood burner on the cold January evening when catching up on a good film. We will be returning and have already boked for January 2027

Pear Tree Cottage is a delightful, well equipped and comfortable cottage in a lovely, peaceful location. We loved the wonderful, large garden and watching the pheasants and rabbits. The wood burning fire made for cosy evenings, and the cottage was beautifully clean, and equipped with everything we could need, including a lovely range of books, games, music and puzzles. The owner was so kind and helpful, as well as generous with the provisions left for us. Thank you Zieta. We canât wait to come back!
