Or cosy up with a good book in the comfortable sitting room with the warmth from the wood burning stove.
Approached by quiet lanes, the cottage is the perfect location for walking, cycling and enjoying the beautiful countryside. Wander a mile down the road to the local pub, The Saracen’s Head or a little further on you will discover The Walpole Arms which comes highly recommended.

Pear Tree Cottage epitomised for me what a rural retreat is. It was beautifully furnished, and so warm and welcoming. Speaking of welcoming, Zieta, the hostess, was so kind and welcoming. She had thought of everything to make us feel comfortable. Her hamper on arrival was extremely generous. Pear Tree Cottage is in a beautiful area with lots of interesting places nearby to explore. We had a wonderful and relaxing break. Thank you

Cottage delightful, equipped with everything you could possibly need and more , by far the most well equipped cottage we have stayed in . Lovely cosy and warm rooms , Huge garden a delight on the warm evenings with just the sound of local wildlife to break into the silence . Canât wait to return.
