A few minutes’ drive leads to the stunning North Norfolk coastline, with its sandy beaches and wealth of rspb nature and bird reserves. Delightful footpaths lead from the door, the most famous of which is known locally as Gas Hill and Spout Hill, which runs into a huge stream.
The Georgian market town of Holt and the nearby coastal villages of Blakeney and Cley are both 5 miles, offering a rich blend of history, nature, and charm. Holt is known for its elegant streets lined with flintstone buildings, home to independent boutiques, galleries, antique shops, and the famous Bakers and Larners food hall.
Just a short drive away, the coastal village of Blakeney offers unforgettable experiences, including seal-spotting boat trips from Morston Quay to Blakeney Point, where England’s largest grey seal colony resides. The village itself is a delight to explore, with its picturesque quay, flint cottages, and the historic St Nicholas Church overlooking the marshes.

Great location for Holt and local dog walks. Clean and tidy accommodation with a cosy feel. Bathroom is downstairs which some might find inconvenient but fine with us.
