A charming cottage in a wonderful village. Excellent access to North Norfolk coastal path giving alternative access to the villages.Head height in doorways is restricted in places, so taller folks need to take care. However, parking is a challenge and requires adept reversing past parked cars with guidance from a passenger - we parked for free at Village hall instead (5-10 minute walk).Annexe charming and well equipped - but unusable during extreme heat - requires air conditioning.Main bathroom has fabulous view and is large - however the main bath taps and shower attachment did not work properly.Kitchen has sufficient equipment - but electric aga requires patience to allow time for ovens to heat up.Washing machine provided, but needed cleaning. And no washing powder provided.Downstairs toilet seat was not fitted properly.

This was our fifth stay in 42 Temple End; I think that says it all. Can't get enough of the cottage and Blakeney. We always leave our car parked up for the week and enjoy our coastal walks to Cley, Salthouse, Morston, Stiffkey and Wells. Also enjoy the local shops and pubs. Weston's fish shop in Blakeney is also a must. And so handy to have a local Spar. Looking forward to our next stay!

It’s a very well equipped and comfortable cottage. There was a very comprehensive welcome pack. It’s easy walking distance to Blakeney Quay and the village. The only drawback is the narrow road and driving out onto the main road but there are mirrors which help with this and it is fine once you get used to it.
